Where to store bikes, skis and seasonal gear when you live in a flat
A flat with no cellar, or with one still full since the move-in, is the story we hear most: a bike you only need in summer and skis you only need in winter end up standing in the hallway or on the balcony for half the year, taking up space you'd rather use for something else.
That is why we extended our storage service to bikes, skis and other bulky items, not just electronics. We take items in at our location in Kranj, at Koroška cesta 4, everything arranged around scope, duration and price.
Why storing bikes and skis makes sense
A block-of-flats balcony was never meant for storage: a bike left there rusts from rain and sun, while skis sit through summer heat that damages bindings and bases. The cellar is often full, damp or has no lighting, and in plenty of buildings it fits no more than one bike per flat anyway.
The seasonal swap is the other side of the same problem: in spring you need room for the bike, not the skis, and the opposite in autumn. Instead of shuffling the same cupboard every season, you simply swap gear with us.

How it works
You write to us with what you want to store and for how long, and we agree on scope, duration and price before you bring anything in. Bring items to our location in Kranj yourself, or we arrange a pickup.
When you need the gear again, you collect it by arrangement, on your schedule, not by a fixed date set in advance.
Preparing a bike or skis for storage
- ·Clean the bike and oil the chain before handover so it does not rust while idle; inflate the tyres slightly so they do not develop flat spots.
- ·Service skis and snowboards before the season (edge sharpening, wax); leave the bindings open so the springs do not lose tension.
- ·Store leather and textile parts of ski gear, such as boots and gloves, dry, so mould does not form.
- ·Photograph each item before handover where possible, so its condition is on record.
